My first 3D image...

Here you will find my first 3D image using Maya 2008.

It's just a very basic (and crappy) tree in a yard with a white picket fence. I was going to do a gate in the gap, but decided against that as I thought it was probably a little difficult as a first task.

I will be posting a new image/exercise each week as a part of my assessment, so hopefully you will see a masive improvement over the course of the semester.

New 3D Animation Blog...

This is the first post for my new blog on 3D Animation.

We're working with Maya this semester, and the only word that really springs to mind for me is PAIN. Animation isn't my strongest suit, so I have to say that it's one class I'm not really looking forward to.

Having said that though, it's a challenge that I should, nay, MUST, conquer!
